Designed by Norman Foster, Stansted Airport is London's best-looking international airport, and lies roughly 35 miles northeast of the capital.
It is served by the Stansted Express train to Liverpool Street, which takes 45 minutes and costs £15.50 single, £25.50 return; trains run every fifteen to thirty minutes from around 5.30am to 12.30am.
National Express runs the Airbus #6 24 hours a day, with services every thirty minutes or less (£10 single, £15 return) to Victoria Coach Station, calling at various places in London en route. Journey time is 1hr 30min (outside rush hour).
Terravision also run coaches to Victoria and Liverpool Street stations, with services every thirty minutes from 7am to 1am (£8 single, £14 return).
A taxi will set you back £75 or more, and take at least an hour.
